New Games November
This month was a great month for the gaming community. We had four of the most anticipated games released; Fallout 4, Halo 5: Guardians, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, and Star Wars Battlefront. These games have been long awaited by most gamers all around the world.
Fallout 4 which is made by Bethesda Softworks is an open world, role-playing game. It takes place after the USA was nuked 210 years prior. The player was frozen for that time and wakes up to see his wife was killed in front of him, and his son was taken. After that happens, your journey begins into the world of Fallout. When asked about the game, Syncere Palmer, a sophomore said, “It was amazing because of the gunplay and exploration.” “The developers took their time with it.” He rates the game a 10/10.
Another game was Star Wars Battlefront. This game is a first person or third person shooter made, by EA DICE (Electronic Arts). It takes place over four worlds: Endor, Tatooine, Sullust, and Hoth. It’s online so you can play with your friends or just random people around the world. Mr. Arcure, who teaches World History at RHS, has this game and said his favorite part of the game was the,” Sound and the graphics.” He would rate it a 8/10.
Halo 5: Guardians is the 12th Halo Game made from publishers Microsoft Studios with developers 343 Industries. Will Smith, a senior said, “His favorite part was the multiplayer” and that the story mode felt like nothing happened. He rates it 9/10.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is a first person shooter made by Treyarch and published by Activision. The long awaited Black Ops Zombies have come back. Kyle Argust, a junior, said “the servers are way better and it has no lag.” But he also said, “Zombies is overrated because you have too much to do, like do rituals, and it takes away from the gameplay.” He rates the game a 9.5/10.
Overall the games this fall are worth the money and the wait. It gave the people what they hoped and wished for.
