Senior Trip
As we wrap up the 2016-2017 school year, the class of 2017 gets ready to celebrate their accomplishments and hard work with the end of the year Senior Trip. This year the 2017 class will be going to Six Flags America, on Friday, May 26, 2017. The cost of going to the trip is $15 and was due Friday, May 5.
The Senior Class had to choose from Bush Gardens, Hershey Park, Kings Dominion, or Six Flags America. A few months ago, the seniors were pulled for Bearbock to do a Kahoot, a voting app, to decide as a whole where they wanted to go for the trip. By the end of the voting, Hershey Park gained majority of the votes. The Senior Student Council helped settle on a trip for the seniors, and Six Flags was chosen.
Senior Gilma Rivera said, “I would’ve liked to go somewhere else, like Kings Dominion, because it’s close and we can spend a longer amount of time enjoying the rides.” Senior Jamya Waller said, “I’m kind of iffy about it because of the area it is in, but I’m excited to go and have a good time.”
