The first nominee is Carina Trotta (11). She is a Varsity Riverbend cheerleader who exudes sportsmanship and leadership. Her coach stated that Carina continues to work hard during practices and during games. She isn’t afraid to ask questions for better understanding and always gives her best effort.

The second nominee is Coralee Hardin (10). She is a  JV field hockey player. Her coaches stated Coralee is a hard worker, and is always willing to do anything to help her team. Coralee is a good student, listener, and always very sweet.

The third nominee is Rohama Yeneneh (9). She is team captain for the Freshman volleyball team. Her coach nominated her for her leadership, positive attitude, for always helping other teammates, for always ready to play, and her improvement.

The fourth nominee is Jordyn “JoJo” Thomas (12). He is a team captain of the Varsity Football team. His coach provided hit stats. Rushing: 18 carries / 225 yards & 4 TD (12.5 ypc) | Defense: 3 Tackles / 2 PBU

The winner will be announced on Wednesday, September 18 during the morning announcements. Be ready Bears!
