Paul Walker- Race in Heaven

Forty year old actor, Paul Walker, died Saturday afternoon in Santa Clara, California, in a tragic car accident. Walker was the star in the famous movie franchise, Fast and Furious. Walker died while in the passenger seat of a 2005 Porsche Carrera GT, one of his best friends who was later identified as Roger Rodas also died, he was the driver. Rodas happened to be a race car driver. “At approximately 3:55 p.m. Pacific Standard Time, the sports car flew off the road and slammed into a tree as well as a light post in Santa Clarita,” authorities and witnesses said. The car then burst into flames. Many of Walker and Rodas’ friends and family desperately tried to pull them out of the fiery car, but unfortunately it was too late, they were gone. “It’s strange,” Jim Torp, who was also at the event said. “(Walker) made his movies. He lived his life and he died fast and furious today. He loved speed, he loved cars, and he had to die this way. He died in a very fast car with his friend.” Walker was in Santa Clara for a charity event to benefit his organization Reach out Worldwide, which sends first responders to the scenes of natural disasters. The event was held at Rodas’ Always Evolving Performance Motors, just down the street from the accident site on Rye Canyon Loop, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Police have ruled out a possible second vehicle, and are currently investigating exactly how fast the car was going. Walker will be missed by many, as he leaves behind a 15 year old daughter, a long time girlfriend, and millions of fans. You will be remembered Paul Walker, we hope you rest in peace.
